The Oakland Museum of California - All Power to the People: Black Panthers at 50

The Oakland Museum's exhibition All Power to the People: Black Panthers at 50 offers a contemporary view of the Party. Despite their militant image they did some very positive things in their communities—like a free breakfast for kids program—and the Panthers' legacy continues to inspire activism today. We used rare historical images and audio recordings to bring the revolution to life and remind people where it all started.
